Tredegar HouseStop 1
Tredegar House (Sat Nav - NP10 8YW)

Set in a beautiful 90 acre park on the outskirts of Newport, Tredegar House is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain.  The earliest surviving part of the building dates back to the early 1500's. Visitors can discover what life was like for those who lived above and below stairs by touring the impressive state rooms and the intriguing servants' quarters.

Stop 2
Llancaiach Fawr Manor (Sat Nav -CF46 6ER)

Llancaiach Fawr Manor near Caerphilly is a 16th century manor house.  Take a tour of the house and meet the servants who will tell you tales of what life was like for them back in 1645.  Amongst the characters you may meet are chamber maids, cooks and grooms.  You may even get to meet the Lord of the Manor himself, Colonel Pritchard.  Llancaiach Fawr is also reputed to be the most haunted house in Wales, and many strange goings on have been reported there.

Stop 3
Bedwellty House (Sat Nav - NP22 3NA)

Bedwellty House is a listed Regency villa in the town of Tredegar and was established in the early 19th century by the Master of the town's Ironworks.  Visitors to the house can discover its historic rooms and view the exhbitions.  The house is set in in 26 acres of parkland and features an ice house and the largest single lump of coal ever mined.
